I aim to make your portrait as affordable as possible
so I have no set prices... you control the cost of your portrait. I do, however, have a starting price of £200
for an oil painting and £70 for a digital illustration.
This price may increase depending on how much detail you wish to add to the composition, e.g. hands, body, costume, objects, background or other people - an ornate Elizabethan costume takes longer than a simple black T-shirt. Postage and packing is added on to the final price once I know the portrait’s destination.

To keep costs low, I prefer to work on an area approx. 29 x 42cm* for a single figure oil portrait. (*This is negotiable but I do not do large scale portraits as I prefer to work on wood panel and there is a limit as
to how big I can go). The paintings are unframed as
this too cuts down on delivery charges and allows you to choose a frame that suits both the style of the painting and your personal taste.
