An early pastel piece Self-Portrait in Bathroom. Back in the 1990’s I was still using pastel. I was plucking up the courage to use oils around this time.
This is a self portrait in my then bathroom. I salvaged those wonderful Victorian tiles from a skip and the wooden slatted bath shelf was rescued from a derelict Manor House and former tuberculosis sanitorium called Cefn Mably in South Wales.
