Vanity Fair style portrait. I was commissioned to create two portraits of the client’s dad in the style of Victorian/Edwardian Vanity Fair ‘SPY’ cartoons. One from when he took silk, and another from his time as a Judge. He is now retired.
Here he is on the day he took silk. I used black and white photos from the 70’s to create this one.
These are gentle caricatures, nothing too extreme. As Leslie Ward (Spy) said:
