Vitam Impendere Vero

The client had returned to the Bar, after a long absence from the UK. She wanted to commemorate her return with a Vanity Fair portrait style commission.

‘Vitam Impendere Vero’ means ‘To devote one’s life to truth’. An apposite phrase for a barrister.

These are gentle caricatures, nothing too extreme. As Leslie Ward (Spy) said:
